Bulgarian Medal for Merit to the People's Army – People's Republic of Bulgaria
Beautiful original Bulgarian military award from the period of the People's Republic of Bulgaria (1946–1990).
The medal bears the Bulgarian text „ЗА ЗАСЛУГИ КЪМ БЪЛГАРСКАТА НАРОДНА АРМИЯ”, meaning "For Merit to the Bulgarian People's Army". The obverse shows the Bulgarian lion emblem, surrounded by a laurel wreath. The medal is fitted with its original green five-sided ribbon with silver-colored stripes.
