Description
Beautiful original vintage leather aviator trousers from the early aviation period. French, circa 1920–1940.
Made from thick, heavy leather with warm inner lining (sheepskin/wool), intended for use in open cockpits. Features characteristic details such as a button closure, adjustable ankle straps, and a large thigh pocket with flap. The top button at the fly is missing.
The trousers have a beautiful authentic patina and clear signs of wear consistent with their age. The inner lining is partially damaged/perished (see photos), which is common for this type of clothing of this age.
