Description
Hitler Youth Reichssportwettkampf badge from 1935, in the rarer silver-colored plastic version. This tinnie was awarded to participants of the annual Reichssportwettkampf, the sports competitions of the Hitler Youth. As the war progressed, plastic versions were increasingly used due to material shortages, with the years 1942, 1943, and 1944 now considered scarce. Early plastic variants, such as this one from 1935, are also less common than the metal examples.
