Description
Original Hitler Youth (HJ) / German Youth Hostel Association (DJH) 1937 tinnie (event badge).
This distinctive tinnie depicts an eagle with the DJH emblem and the year 1937 in the centre. It is a lightweight, thin sheet metal stamped example with the original working pin construction on the reverse.
Such tinnies were worn during activities related to the Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk (DJH), the German Youth Hostel Association, which at the time was closely affiliated with the Hitler Youth.
