Description
Exceptional large bronze plaque manufactured by Karl Goetz (1875–1950), struck in 1938 to commemorate the Munich Agreement (Münchener Abkommen).
The obverse depicts the portraits of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Neville Chamberlain, and Édouard Daladier, the four heads of state involved in the Munich Agreement of September 29, 1938.
The reverse depicts the Führerbau in Munich, where the treaty was signed.
This is the large cast bronze medal, a much more impressive version than the regular small medal. The medal has a diameter of approximately 12.5 cm and weighs 498 grams.
