Knight's Cross of the Order of Hohenzollern with Swords – Silver (938), enameled

Beautiful Knight's Cross of the Order of Hohenzollern with Swords, made of silver (hallmark 938), richly enameled and gilded, originating from Berlin. This type of award was presented for military merit and bravery, primarily during the First World War within the Prussian and later the German imperial award system.

The cross has the characteristic shape of a white enameled cross pattée with the medallion in the center depicting the Prussian eagle and the motto “Vom Fels zum Meer” (From the Rock to the Sea). The crossed swords indicate that it is a military award. Above the cross is the royal crown, attached to its original ribbon.

The piece is in very good condition with only minimal signs of use. The specimen is excellently preserved. It has a beautiful, light, and untouched patina, appropriate for its age.
