Special Dutch commemorative medal Fanfare De Vriendenkrans, Heel from 1899
Beautiful and richly decorated historical commemorative medal from 1899, associated with Fanfare De Vriendenkrans from Heel (Limburg, Netherlands).
The front prominently features the text:
“FANFARE DE VRIENDENKRANS”
The medal is adorned with a beautifully designed crown with elegant ornaments and a very detailed decoration of flowers and leaves all around.
The back clearly states:
“INTERNATIONAL FESTIVITIES
HEEL
18 JUNE
1899”
The medal is made of a bronze/copper alloy and has a beautiful, heavy, and richly detailed finish. The original eyelet and ring are still present.
Fanfare De Vriendenkrans from Heel was founded in the 19th century and still exists as a music association today.
A beautiful and old Dutch music/festival medal with a clearly dated event from the late 19th century. Difficult to find.
