Description
A beautiful and completely original Saxon officer's Pickelhaube from the German Empire. It features the characteristic Saxon coat of arms on a gold-colored star, an original brass schubenkette, a high officer's peak, and both correct cockades: black-white-red (national) and green-white (Saxony).
The helmet is made of vulcanized fiber, typical of officers due to its light weight and high-quality finish. The interior features the original, lightweight silk lining, which is in exceptionally good condition.
An excellently preserved example of a rare Saxon officer's helmet.
