Bilingual edition with all Nazi ordinances for the Netherlands from 1940. The text is divided into two columns with the German text on the left and the Dutch text on the right. The ordinances concern matters such as the Wehrmacht, Jews, law and order and security, and everything else from a German perspective. All issued by Seyss Inquart, the Reich Commissioner for the occupied Dutch territory. The cover of the book is in good condition, the pages of the book are very good. This edition from the first year of the war includes a rare typewritten addendum. The book is organized as follows: A. Chronological Table of Contents B. Contents, arranged by subject C. Alphabetical Index D. List of amended, repealed or extended legal provisions E. List of reports / List of corrections Seyss-Inquart was tried and found guilty of crimes against humanity at the Nuremberg Trials on 1 October 1946. He was responsible for the deportation of over one hundred thousand Jews to concentration and extermination camps. He was executed, and his ashes were scattered in the Isar River to prevent his grave from becoming a gathering place for former National Socialists. The book is in nice used condition
