Description
Original lightweight anti-gas gaiters (Beinlinge) from World War II, part of the German Model 1939 gas protection suit (Leichten Gasbekleidung 39). These protective covers were worn over the boots and, together with the jacket, trousers, and gloves, formed a complete gas-tight outfit.
Made of impregnated protective fabric with a sturdy rubber foot and original drawstrings with wooden beads. No visible maker or date stamp, which is not unusual for this type.
Beautiful, rare set in very good, unused condition.
