Description
This medal was awarded on February 17, 1962, to all Belgian soldiers who served between December 18, 1909, and February 18, 1934. However, the medal was not awarded posthumously. The obverse of the medal depicts a Belgian soldier. His helmet bears a laurel branch and the inscription: Albertus Rex. The reverse shows the royal crown. Below it is the royal monogram A and the dates 1909-1934. To the left and right of the monogram are an oak leaf and laurel branch. The ribbon is yellow with a green stripe in the middle. In good used condition.
