Beautiful brass helmet plate from a Bavarian Pickelhaube from the period of the Kingdom of Bavaria (19th century - First World War).

A brass helmet plate depicts the characteristic Bavarian coat of arms with two lions, the king's crown, and the richly decorated central shield. This type of helmet plate was worn on the classic pointed helmets of the Royal Bavarian Army.
