Belgian Yser Medal (Médaille de l'Yser / Yser Medal), instituted in 1934 to honour the Belgian soldiers who took part in the decisive Battle of the Yser (17–31 October 1914).

This battle was one of the most important moments of the First World War and is considered the symbol of Belgian resistance.

This medal has not been polished, so the original patina has been fully retained.
