Rare Belgian SAS Paracommando Brushstroke Anorak

Hasenbos Militaria

Description

Rare Belgian Paracommando Brushstroke Anorak

Original Belgian military brushstroke anorak from the 1950s, worn by Belgian Paracommandos / special forces. This type was used, among other things, during operations in the Belgian Congo in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

This is the anorak / pullover model with a hood, a model that is clearly less common than the well-known Denison-style smocks. As a result, this type is quite rare on the collector's market today.

These anoraks were worn by Belgian paracommando units and are known from deployments during the Congo period.

A stain on the right chest pocket and near the button on the right side, the fabric is slightly torn.
