Original German Feldpost postcard from 1914, sent during the First World War.

The map was handwritten by a German soldier and contains a reference to Lüttich (Liège), site of the first major battle of WWI.

The colorful obverse shows a German infantryman with regimental banners and military symbolism.

The back features military postmarks and text in original Kurrent/Sütterlin script. This is a handwriting style taught in German schools between 1914 and 1941.

In nice used condition.
