Description
Original RAF Type D flying helmet from World War II (circa 1940–1941).
This type of helmet was used by British pilots during the early war years, including the Battle of Britain period.
The helmet is made of the characteristic light brown canvas and is equipped with a set of original Bakelite RAF receivers type 10A/13466 – an important and highly sought-after detail that is rarely found complete.
