Hasenbos Militaria
Description
This authentic French military badge dates from 1940 and was made by the renowned maker Arthus Bertrand. It is an original from the Second World War and not to be confused with later reissues (refrappes), which are usually recognizable by a bolero clasp or ring fastening.
The 95th Infantry Regiment was active in the Maginot Line in the Saar region in 1940 and was later deployed in the defense of Boulogne-sur-Mer.
The insignia features a powerful, symbolic image with the text "Debout les morts!" and the abbreviation "95e RI", which refers to the regiment's fighting spirit and sense of honor.
