Description
Original chocolate-brown leather winter flying helmet of the type LKp.W.101, specially designed for use in cold conditions. This model was worn by fighter pilots and bomber commanders of the Luftwaffe and is equipped with integrated radio equipment (FT-Gerät).
The helmet is made of supple brown leather with steel fittings and is fully lined with white sheepskin for optimal insulation. Size 55.
The specimen is in very good, original condition and shows only minor, authentic signs of wear consistent with its age. It comes with complete and integrated communication equipment, including the original long cable with plug. All components are correctly marked.
