Description
Metal plaque General Field Marshal Freiherr Colmar von der Goltz In 1883 he was sent to the Ottoman Empire as a military advisor, where he was charged with modernizing the army until 1895. For this he was given the titles of pasha and mushir (marshal). Von der Goltz continued his career in Germany, which he concluded in 1911 with his appointment as Generalfeldmarschall .
