Description
Original hand-embroidered Kriegsmarine officer's breast eagle, made of gold-colored metallic thread (bullion) on a dark blue wool background.
This example has been removed from a uniform and is therefore worn. The reverse no longer has the original paper backing, which is common for examples that were actually worn on a uniform. Despite the light signs of wear, the embroidery is still fine and well preserved.
