Dutch M43 helmet, the rimless M42 without the backpack slot. This helmet lacks a folded brim, a so-called neck cutter. This helmet was worn by a Schalkhaar Police officer during WWII. Civil and Air Defense also wore black Dutch helmets of various models during the war. Complete with a leather liner and a long chin strap. This helmet has been painted with a special black gloss varnish. M43 is not an official name, but it identifies this model. In used condition.
