Description
Authentic and rare Luxembourg resistance bracelet from the Second World War, dating from the liberation period of 1944.
This armband was worn by members of the UNIO'N Résistance Luxembourgeoise, the umbrella organization of the Luxembourg resistance. It served as official identification for resistance fighters and local militias during and immediately after the liberation of Luxembourg.
The bracelet is made of linen/cotton and features the original print “UNIO'N Résistance Luxembourgeoise” with the national coat of arms of Luxembourg (lion and crown).
