Original police cap badge, from the 1930s-40s.
Original hand-embroidered cap badge of the Dutch Police, dating from the 1930s–40s.
This type of badge was worn by officers (Inspector/Chief Inspector).
The emblem shows the Dutch lion surrounded by a silver laurel wreath, made entirely of silver-colored metallic thread on black cloth.
Luxurious edition, typical of higher ranks. The red accents in the lion's crown are still clearly visible.
