Dutch Prince's Flag in the classic colours of orange, white, and blue. The flag is made of cotton and features a sturdy hem with a hanging cord. The flag shows signs of use but is otherwise in good condition.
The Prince's Flag is one of the oldest Dutch flags, originating from the time of William of Orange during the Eighty Years' War (16th–17th century). The colours refer to the House of Orange and were used by the rebels (Geuzen).
In the 1930s and 1940s, the Prince's Flag was also used by the National Socialist Movement, a Dutch political movement that collaborated with Nazi Germany during World War II.
