Description
German Prussian Schirmmütze (peaked cap) period c. 1915. Worn by a soldier of the Prussian Landwehr or Reservist.
The cap is made with a dark blue crown, red band, and white piping. On the front is the Landwehr/Reserve cockade with the Landwehr cross. The national cockade is missing.
The interior features the original lining and leather sweatband. The size is stamped 55½.
