Original American World War II veteran's cap from The American Legion.
Complete set including the original shipping envelope with a clear postmark from October 25, 1944 from Philadelphia (hard to find!). The cap was shipped from the national headquarters of The American Legion in Indianapolis.
Handwritten name and marking still visible on the inside.
