Description
Original German Wehrmacht (Heer) tropical gas cape with accompanying carrying pouch from World War II. This tropical version was used in warm climates, such as North Africa and Southern Europe, and served as a protective gas cape against chemical warfare agents.
The pouch is made of tropical canvas and features original STOCKO snap fasteners. On the inside, the pouch is clearly marked with "gdn". The accompanying rubberized gas cape is marked "pcd", with a paper label stating, among other things, "26/44/9".
The set is in beautiful, original condition. A fine and harder-to-find set.
