Original advertising badge of the Hamburg-Amerika Linie (HAPAG) with the well-known HAPAG flag. The manufacturer is stated on the back: Glasolin Schilderfabrik Meise u. Möcking G.m.b.H., Vohwinkel. Interbellum period (approx. 1925–1935).
This is a beautiful collector's item from the history of German shipping. HAPAG badges of this type are only sporadically offered and are considerably less common than many other advertising and company badges from the same period. The combination of the HAPAG design and the manufacturer Meise u. Möcking makes this a sought-after piece among collectors.
